Antique furniture and vintage – Recycled, Eco-Friendly and Green
Living with antiques and vintage has a very positive effect on the environment. Recycling treasures of the past in our current lifestyle can not only space in landfills, but also much more positive "green" impact on our planet.
Vintage furniture recycling saves trees, and gives life to the beautiful old wood. Much of the most beautiful old hardwood forest has been cut, and not a few years ago mobile. However, it is a nice feeling to know that the old furniture could one day be restored and reused for future generations. It is a pleasure to see things that we use history in our everyday life, reflecting the times and lives of their former owners, and knowingsurvive to illuminate the lives of others in the future. This is the true meaning of family heirlooms and the aspect of recycling is becoming essential to preserve life as we know it on our fragile planet.
Debate and controversy over what to do about pollution and global warming will continue, but enjoy life and antiques is an easy decision and ecologically positive. As Friedrich Engels said: "An ounce of action is worth a ton of theory."
